The EM Variable Threshold Regenerative Braking System Cutoff Sensor (VTRBSCS) is an electronic brake cutoff sensor that works by detecting the regen throttle voltage applied when twisting the regen throttle, and triggering switches for ESC and brake light applications when a certain voltage threshold is met. The EM VTRBSCS supports both 2 & 3-pin brake cutoff switches, and both ports can be wired to work for either application. The adjustability of the voltage threshold allows for a customizable brake cutoff trigger distance, allowing for a set percentage of throttle to be applied before triggering, fixing dead zones, and providing accurate brake light triggering.
EM Engineering Solutions LLC Presents an animated introduction to the Variable Threshold Regenerative Braking System Cutoff Sensor. This details the wiring/pinout and internals of the product and how it works. Showing the processes in which products are manufactured aids customers and businesses in gaining a higher level of understanding of their products.
